The range of specially manufactured products by Spheric-Trafalgar is designed and engineered to suit the needs of engineers in industry. These include Spherical Plug Gauges, CMM Reference Balls, Plain Reference Balls and Tooling Balls (sometimes known as Icky Balls). Typical uses for these special products include the gauging of internal bores, setting of CMM machines, setting of precision measuring equipment and general purpose use in jigs and fixtures.

Spheric-Trafalgar design and manufacture these products in standard formats, but can also manufacture these to suit a customer's particular needs when drawings are supplied. All special products can be supplied with a UKAS Certificate of Calibration listing the measured results relevant to the ball diameter and roundness, with full traceability to National and International Standards.

In addition to the standard range of special products Spheric-Trafalgar can manufacture modified balls to suit most purposes, these include balls with holes, balls with flats, balls with cylindrical parts, or any combination of these features.
